Frankie Ko
Operating Executive

Frankie is an Operating Executive based in AEA Shanghai.

Prior to AEA, Frankie spent 31 years with Dow Chemical Company in various manufacturing and commercial leadership roles, and was most recently vice president of greater China business development. He was instrumental in setting up the Shaanxi coal-to-chemical collaboration between Dow and Shenhua Group in 2007. While at Dow, Frankie was the chairman of the Asia-Pacific commercial leadership team and the commercial development program, and he has had extensive joint venture management experience. He had set up and managed various joint ventures, such as Zhejiang Pacific Chemical, Styron Asia Limited, DuPont Dow Elastomers, Union Carbide (both Guangdong Zhongshan and Shanghai), Sumitomo Dow Limited and LG-DOW Polycarbonate Ltd. Frankie served on the board of directors of all the joint ventures, and he also acted as chairman of selected joint ventures.
