Daniel Schorr

Dan is a Partner on AEA’s Small Business Private Equity team. In his role, he focuses on investment opportunities in the industrials, consumer and services sectors. Dan serves on the boards of 50 Floor, Meritus, Monroe, Omega, RED Global, Singer Industrial and WorldWide Electric. He was also on the boards of former AEA portfolio companies Colony, Galco and National Carwash Services.

Prior to joining AEA, Dan was a strategy consultant with L.E.K. Consulting in Boston, advising both private equity and corporate clients. During his time there, he evaluated acquisition opportunities and developed growth and post-merger integration strategies for clients across a wide variety of industries, including airlines, gaming and hospitality and general industrial and consumer sectors.

Dan earned a B.A. in economics and biological basis of behavior from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors.

Dan supports a variety of local New Jersey charities and has served as a Mentor and a Read Ahead Volunteer.
