Amy Bevacqua joined AEA in 2002. As vice president and deputy general counsel, she is
involved in investment and liquidity transactions for all of the AEA funds, as well
as a broad range of internal matters, including fund formation and administration. She also advises on legal matters,
and serves as corporate secretary, for the majority of AEA’s portfolio companies.
Before joining AEA, Ms. Bevacqua
practiced law in the New York, Paris, and London offices of Shearman & Sterling,
specializing in international securities transactions, structured financings, private
equity investments, and acquisition transactions.
Ms. Bevacqua received a J.D. from Boston
University School of Law and a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University, both
with honors. She is admitted to the bar in New York.

Steve Elia joined AEA in 2006 as vice president of institutional investor
relations and development. He is involved in all aspects of investor fundraising,
communication and relations.
Before joining AEA, Mr. Elia was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co.’s private
equity fundraising group where he helped raise a variety of private equity and real
estate funds from institutional investors worldwide. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch,
he was a manager in the tax and business advisory group at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Elia received a B.S. in accounting with honors from Boston College and an M.B.A. from
the Yale School of Management. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jessica Hodgkinson joined AEA in 1993. She initially served as manager responsible for the maintenance of AEA Investor's investor database. In 2005, she became vice president of fund administration. Ms. Hodgkinson maintains the investor database and works on all aspects of fund administration as well as investor communications and reporting.
Ms. Hodgkinson graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in political science. Top |

Ngoc Lu joined
AEA in 2000 to head the information technology
group at AEA. Prior to joining AEA, he
was with Credit Suisse First Boston for seven
years, most recently as vice president and chief
technology officer of the firm’s private
equity division.
Mr. Lu received a B.S. in optical engineering
from the University of Rochester.

Sandy Petruzzelli joined AEA in 2000 as a member of AEA’s former life
sciences investment team. In 2001, she became vice president of operations responsible for human resources initiatives, office/facilities management and
event planning. Recently, Ms. Petruzzelli has been involved in investor relations
activities for the firm.
Prior to joining AEA, Ms. Petruzzelli spent twelve years at Bayer
Corporation, pharmaceutical division in various professional positions which led to
her appointment as the manager of operations for their research organization. Prior
to her employment at Bayer, she worked for seven years at Yale University and the Yale
School of Medicine.
Ms. Petruzzelli received her undergraduate degree from Albertus Magnus
College and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Kevin Seltzer joined AEA in 2006 and serves as the vice president of finance and treasurer of AEA Investors LP and AEA Holdings LLC. In this capacity, he manages the day-to-day financial activities of the firm.
Before joining AEA, Mr. Seltzer was a senior vice president at The Blackstone Group. At Blackstone, he focused primarily on accounting and financial reporting for all of Blackstone's registered investment advisor entities. Additionally, Mr. Seltzer focused on firm-wide financial budgeting, analysis, and reporting; the firm's treasury functions and credit facility; and certain risk management functions. Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Seltzer worked at Merrill Lynch & Co. as a vice president in charge of fund accounting for various private equity fund of funds limited partnerships and publicly traded mezzanine limited partnerships. He worked for Coopers and Lybrand, L.L.P. prior to joining Merrill Lynch & Co.
Mr. Seltzer received a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.S. in accounting with honors from Long Island University. He is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American Institute and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

James Villa joined AEA in 2007 and serves as the vice president of finance and administration for the Mezzanine Fund. Prior to joining AEA, Mr. Villa was a manager in the private equity investor services group at Deloitte and Touche.
Mr. Villa graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in political science and is a certified public accountant.
