Andreas joined AEA in 2017 as an Operating Partner focusing on value-added industrial products. He currently serves on the board of AptarGroup and AEA portfolio companies API Technologies, Excelitas Technologies, NES SitelogIQ, and Spectrum Plastics Group.
Most recently, in his position as Honeywell Vice Chairman, he led the company’s Commercial Excellence Initiative, and helped advance the deployment of HOS Gold and position Honeywell as a premier software-industrial company. Prior to this role, Andreas served as the President and CEO of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies, a global leader in process technologies and catalysts for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as a leader in the development and production of high purity, high performance materials such as refrigerants. Prior to that he served as President & CEO of Honeywell’s Environmental and Combustion Controls business.
Andreas is the recipient of the 2017 Chemical Industry Medal.
Felix joined AEA in 2013 and focuses on investments in Europe.
Prior to joining AEA, Felix worked in the investment banking group at Morgan Stanley in Sydney, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and financings for utilities and industrial companies.
Alex joined AEA’s London office in 2004 as an Associate and became a Partner in 2015. Alex currently focuses on AEA’s investments in Europe. In 2006, Alex relocated to Hong Kong for three years to help AEA establish its Asia presence and evaluate investment opportunities in the region. He is currently on the boards of LoneStar, NES Global Talent and Sparrows. He also served on the board of former AEA portfolio company Industrial Acoustics Company.
Prior to joining AEA, Alex was at PwC in the Transaction Services team in London. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001.
Tom joined AEA in 1999 and became a Partner in 2003. He focuses on investments in the Value-Added Industrial Products and Services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of API Technologies, NES Global Talent, Numotion, SitelogIQ, and TricorBraun. He also served on the board of Evoqua Water Technologies. Tom previously served on the boards of former AEA portfolio companies Behavioral Interventions, Cogent Healthcare, Dematic, Houghton International, Kranson Industries, Northern China German Automotive, Pregis, Pro Mach, RelaDyne and Unifrax.
Before joining AEA, Tom was with the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch, where he advised a broad range of private equity investment firms. As part of what was at the time the leading financial sponsor coverage practice on Wall Street, he worked with many large-cap and middle-market firms on all aspects of their investment activities.
Tom is a certified public accountant.
