Fred joined AEA in 2020 as an Operating Partner focusing on investments in the Value-Added Industrials sector.
Prior to AEA, Fred served as President and CEO of Masonite International, which went public in 2013 under his leadership. Previously, Fred was President of Human Generic Pharmaceuticals and Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Actavis, a specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer. Fred began his career at Honeywell (previously Allied Signal), where he held progressively senior roles.
Ramzi joined AEA in 2018 as a Partner in the London office. He focuses on AEA’s investments in Europe and currently sits on the board of PST.
Prior to joining AEA, Ramzi was a partner at TPG Capital in London, where over the last 18 years he has completed investments in various sectors, including retail and consumer, industrials, building materials, as well as technology and telecom. He also has experience across geographies, with transactions in several markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Turkey, the Middle East, and Australia. Ramzi started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York, where he advised private equity firms on all aspects of their investment activities.
Marco joined AEA in 2017 and focuses on investments in Europe.
Prior to joining AEA, Marco was an associate at Morgan Stanley in the UK mergers & acquisitions team.
James joined AEA in 2008 and focuses on AEA’s investments in the Value-Added Industrials and Services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of API Technologies, PST and Swanson Industries.
Prior to joining AEA, James was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in Boston and Los Angeles.
Tom joined AEA in 1999 and became a Partner in 2003. He focuses on investments in the Value-Added Industrials and Services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of API Technologies, NES Global Talent, Numotion, PST, SitelogIQ, and TricorBraun. He also served on the board of Evoqua Water Technologies. Tom previously served on the boards of former AEA portfolio companies Behavioral Interventions, Cogent Healthcare, Dematic, Houghton International, Kranson Industries, Northern China German Automotive, Pregis, Pro Mach, RelaDyne and Unifrax.
Before joining AEA, Tom was with the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch, where he advised a broad range of private equity investment firms. As part of what was at the time the leading financial sponsor coverage practice on Wall Street, he worked with many large-cap and middle-market firms on all aspects of their investment activities.
Tom is a certified public accountant.
