Liz joined AEA in 2020 as a member of the investor relations and fundraising team. She is involved in all aspects of investor fundraising, communications, relations and business development.

Before joining AEA, Liz was the head of investor relations and business development for Churchill Asset Management and previously held a similar role at Kohlberg & Company. Earlier in her career, Liz worked in middle market investment banking at SPP Capital Partners. She began her career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Andrew joined AEA in 2013 as an Accounting Manager and became Vice President of Fund Administration in 2019. He is responsible for all aspects of fund administration and loan operations for the Private Debt Funds including financial reporting, audit, taxation, investor communications and reporting.

Prior to joining AEA, Andrew was an assistant controller at Apollo Global Management and a senior accountant at Och-Ziff Capital Management. Earlier in his career, Andrew was an auditor at Deloitte & Touche LLP specializing in alternative investment funds.

Rachel joined AEA in 2018. She is responsible for all aspects of fund administration for the Private Equity Funds including financial reporting, audit, taxation, investor communications and reporting, and the investor database.

Prior to joining AEA, Rachel was vice president of finance and accounting at Littlejohn & Co. LLC and held similar role at Cerberus Capital Management. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Sarah joined AEA in 2017 as an Associate. Prior to joining AEA, Sarah was an investment banking analyst at Stephens Inc. Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University, where she earned a B.S. in Finance.

Cindy joined AEA in 2013 as part of AEA’s investor relations and fundraising team. She is involved in all aspects of investor fundraising, communications, and relations across the firm’s strategies. She is instrumental in the fundraising process for all AEA funds as well as helping to maintain current investor relationships.

Before joining AEA, Cindy was an analyst at Barclays Capital in the mergers and acquisitions group.

Ngoc joined AEA in 2000 as Head of the information technology group.

Prior to joining AEA, Ngoc was with Credit Suisse First Boston for seven years, most recently as vice president and chief technology officer of the firm’s private equity division.

Sandra joined AEA in 2013 as Vice President of human resources. In 2020, Sandra was promoted to Principal.

Before joining AEA, Sandra spent ten years at Montgomery & Co., LLC, a boutique investment bank, where she most recently served as head of administration and Chief Compliance Officer. While at Montgomery, she managed a team responsible for human resources, compliance, information technology, and administrative support. Prior to Montgomery, Sandra led the human resources and administrative functions for two venture-backed startups and spent four years in global recruiting operations at Monitor Group.

Steve joined AEA in 2006 to lead AEA’s investor relations and fundraising efforts and became a Partner in 2015. He is involved in all aspects of investor fundraising, communications and relations as well as business development.

Before joining AEA, Steve was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co.’s private equity fundraising group where he helped raise a variety of private equity and real estate funds from institutional investors worldwide. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, he was a manager in the tax and business advisory group at Arthur Andersen.

Steve is also a certified public accountant.

Steve joined AEA as a Partner and Chief Financial Officer in 2011. He oversees finance and administration, human resources, information technology and investor relations.

Before joining AEA, Steve spent over ten years at Ripplewood Holdings LLC, a middle market private equity firm, where he most recently served as chief financial officer and managing director. While at Ripplewood, he managed a team responsible for accounting, operating and administrative functions. Prior to Ripplewood, Steve worked in the assurance and business advisory services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked in the controllers department at The Dreyfus Corporation.

Steve is a certified public accountant.

Barbara joined AEA in 2011 and became Partner and AEA’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer in 2013.

Before joining AEA, Barbara was the head of legal coverage for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, the real estate private equity division of Morgan Stanley. Prior to her work at Morgan Stanley, she practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, securities and private equity in its New York and London offices.

Barbara is admitted to the bar in New York.
