Keith joined AEA in 2019 as a portfolio manager of the senior debt team. Prior to joining AEA, he was the group head of the structured acquisition finance group at ING Capital where he managed a leveraged loan portfolio as well as coordinated coverage and leverage loan underwriting and execution for financial sponsors. Before ING, Keith was at BNY Mellon Capital Markets, CGV Capital Advisors, Merrill Lynch & Co. and Credit Suisse in various leveraged finance and high yield capital markets-related capacities. He began his career at SunTrust Bank.

Timothy joined AEA in 2019 as a member of the private debt team.

Prior to AEA, Timothy was a director at Abacus Finance Group, providing credit solutions to private equity sponsored lower middle market companies. Previously, he was a vice president in the leveraged finance group at US Bancorp. Earlier in his career, Timothy held similar positions at CIT Asset Management, American Capital and J.P. Morgan.

Kathryn joined AEA in 2017 as an Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2020. Prior to joining AEA, Kathryn was an investment banking associate at Jefferies LLC in the leveraged finance group.

Prior to joining AEA, Brian was with Bank of Montreal in Chicago, originating, executing and monitoring middle market senior debt and mezzanine sponsor-backed transactions. Prior to Bank of Montreal, he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a member of the financial due diligence team within the deals advisory practice.

Reza joined AEA in 2016 as an Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2019. Prior to joining AEA, Reza was an analyst at Wells Fargo Securities in the leveraged finance group. Previously, he was an investment associate at Cambridge Associates.

Nan joined AEA in 2007 as a member of the newly formed senior debt team and was promoted to Partner in 2011. Along with Keith Alexander, she is responsible for managing AEA’s two senior debt portfolios.

Prior to joining AEA, Nan’s experience included nine years as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston in leveraged finance and corporate restructuring. She also spent several years providing independent consulting and strategic planning services to Align Communications Inc., an international technology consulting firm.

Joe joined AEA in 2004 as a Partner. In 2020, Joe became Executive Chairman of the AEA Private Debt Group and Chairman of the investment committee of all AEA debt funds.

Prior to joining AEA, Joe spent four years at J.H. Whitney & Co. as co-head of the mezzanine group and member of the credit and investment committees, managing $1 billion of dedicated capital. While at Whitney, he was also co-head of the structured products (CBO) group and was a member of its credit and investment committees. Joe also spent significant time on private equity activities and served on several boards in his various capacities. Prior to joining Whitney in 1999, Joe spent 12 years at Credit Suisse First Boston in a number of areas including leveraged finance and financial sponsor coverage, high yield finance and corporate restructurings and reorganizations.
