Keith joined AEA in 2019 as a portfolio manager of the senior debt team. Prior to joining AEA, he was the group head of the structured acquisition finance group at ING Capital where he managed a leveraged loan portfolio as well as coordinated coverage and leverage loan underwriting and execution for financial sponsors. Before ING, Keith was at BNY Mellon Capital Markets, CGV Capital Advisors, Merrill Lynch & Co. and Credit Suisse in various leveraged finance and high yield capital markets-related capacities. He began his career at SunTrust Bank.

Ramzi joined AEA in 2018 as a Partner in the London office. He focuses on AEA’s investments in Europe. Prior to joining AEA, Ramzi was a partner at TPG Capital in London, where over the last 18 years he has completed investments in various sectors, including retail and consumer, industrials, building materials, as well as technology and telecom. He also has experience across geographies, with transactions in several markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Turkey, the Middle East, and Australia. Ramzi started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York, where he advised private equity firms on all aspects of their investment activities.

Steve joined AEA in 2006 to lead AEA’s investor relations and fundraising efforts and became a Partner in 2015. He is involved in all aspects of investor fundraising, communications and relations as well as business development.

Before joining AEA, Steve was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co.’s private equity fundraising group where he helped raise a variety of private equity and real estate funds from institutional investors worldwide. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, he was a manager in the tax and business advisory group at Arthur Andersen.

Steve is also a certified public accountant.

Tim joined AEA in 2005 as a member of the Small Business Fund team. Tim rejoined AEA in 2009 after business school and was promoted to Partner in 2018. He serves on the boards of Allied Power Group, American Expediting, Balboa and Barnet Products. He also served on the boards of former AEA portfolio companies Aramsco, Evans, and Flow Control Group.

Prior to joining AEA, Tim was a strategy consultant with The Parthenon Group.

Dan joined AEA in 2008 as a member of the Small Business Fund team and was promoted to Partner in 2020. Dan currently serves on the board of NCS, Omega and SBP. He also served on the board of former AEA portfolio companies Colony Hardware and Galco.

Prior to joining AEA, Dan was a strategy consultant with L.E.K. Consulting.

Alex joined AEA in 2004. After three years with the firm, he pursued other entrepreneurial focused initiatives before returning to AEA in 2009. He became a Partner in 2018. Alex focuses on AEA’s investments in the Consumer sector and currently serves on the boards of 1-800 Contacts, 24 Hour Fitness, BMS Enterprises, Jack’s Family Restaurants, Melissa & Doug and ThreeSixty.

Prior to joining AEA, Alex was a strategy consultant with Bain & Co. in San Francisco. Prior to Bain, he spent a year as a consultant to DataCom, Mongolia’s first internet service provider, as a Henry Luce Scholar.

Alex was a Morehead-Cain Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Justin joined AEA in 2006 and was promoted to Partner in 2018. Justin focuses on AEA’s investments in the Value-Added Industrial Products and Services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of TricorBraun and Visual Comfort & Co. He previously served on the board of GMS.

Prior to joining AEA, Justin worked at Brera Capital Partners, a global private equity firm based in New York. Prior to Brera, he worked at Banc of America Securities in both the mergers and acquisitions group and the leveraged acquisition finance group.

John joined AEA in 2005 as member of the mezzanine team and was promoted to Partner in 2018.

Prior to joining AEA, John spent three years at AlpInvest Partners, a global private equity manager. Prior to AlpInvest, he was at 212 Ventures, the technology arm of Investcorp International. Prior to this position, he was at Credit Suisse First Boston in the leveraged finance and financial sponsors group.

Vinay joined AEA as an Associate in 2004 and became a Partner in 2016. Vinay focuses on investments in the Value-Added Industrials and Services sectors. In 2006, he relocated to Hong Kong for three years to help AEA establish its Asia presence and evaluate investment opportunities in the region. He currently serves on the board of API Technologies, Evoqua Water Technologies and Excelitas Technologies. He also served on the board of former AEA portfolio company Dematic.

Prior to joining AEA, Vinay was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in San Francisco and London.

Christian joined AEA in 2006 as a member of the mezzanine team and was promoted to Partner in 2018.

Prior to joining AEA, he was with Allied Capital in New York, originating, executing and monitoring middle market mezzanine and control buyout transactions. Prior to Allied Capital, Christian was with GE Equity, the private equity investment division of GE Capital and Chase Securities Inc., where he was a member of the acquisition finance group.
