Liz joined AEA in 2020 as a member of the investor relations and fundraising team. She is involved in all aspects of investor fundraising, communications, relations and business development.

Before joining AEA, Liz was the head of investor relations and business development for Churchill Asset Management and previously held a similar role at Kohlberg & Company. Earlier in her career, Liz worked in middle market investment banking at SPP Capital Partners. She began her career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Timothy joined AEA in 2019 as a member of the private debt team.

Prior to AEA, Timothy was a director at Abacus Finance Group, providing credit solutions to private equity sponsored lower middle market companies. Previously, he was a vice president in the leveraged finance group at US Bancorp. Earlier in his career, Timothy held similar positions at CIT Asset Management, American Capital and J.P. Morgan.

Prior to joining AEA, Brian was with Bank of Montreal in Chicago, originating, executing and monitoring middle market senior debt and mezzanine sponsor-backed transactions. Prior to Bank of Montreal, he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a member of the financial due diligence team within the deals advisory practice.

Anneka joined AEA in 2010 and focuses on AEA’s investments in the value-added industrials and services sectors. She currently serves on the board of SitelogIQ.

Prior to joining AEA, Anneka was an analyst at The Blackstone Group in the restructuring and reorganization group and prior to Blackstone, an analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the leveraged finance group.

Sandra joined AEA in 2013 as Vice President of human resources. In 2020, Sandra was promoted to Principal.

Before joining AEA, Sandra spent ten years at Montgomery & Co., LLC, a boutique investment bank, where she most recently served as head of administration and Chief Compliance Officer. While at Montgomery, she managed a team responsible for human resources, compliance, information technology, and administrative support. Prior to Montgomery, Sandra led the human resources and administrative functions for two venture-backed startups and spent four years in global recruiting operations at Monitor Group.

James joined AEA in 2008 and focuses on AEA’s investments in the Value-Added Industrial Products and Services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of API Technologies and Swanson Industries.

Prior to joining AEA, James was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in Boston and Los Angeles.

Tommy joined AEA in 2008 and focuses on AEA’s investments in the Value-Added Industrial Products and Services sectors. He currently serves on the boards of BMS Enterprises and Numotion.

Prior to joining AEA, Tommy was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company in Atlanta.

Mike joined AEA in 2006 as a member of the mezzanine team.

Prior to joining AEA, he was with Investcorp International in New York, working as a generalist on a variety of leveraged buyout transactions. Prior to Investcorp, Mike was with Credit Suisse First Boston in the leveraged finance and financial sponsors group.
