Alex Bales

Alex is a Vice President on AEA’s Middle Market Private Equity team. In his role, he focuses on investment opportunities in the industrials and services sectors.

Prior to joining AEA, Alex worked in the Consumer & Retail group at Lazard Frères & Co. in New York, focusing on mergers & acquisitions.

Alex graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a B.S. in business administration and a B.A. in mathematics.

Alex has participated in The New York City Mentoring Program for the last three years.
