Arting is a Vice President on AEA’s Middle Market Private Equity team. In her role, she focuses on investment opportunities in the consumer sector.
Prior to joining AEA in 2015, Arting was an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan working in the mergers & acquisitions group with consumer, technology and industrial companies. Arting then joined AEA as an Associate before leaving to get her MBA at Harvard Business School.
Arting earned a B.S. in business and a B.A. in psychology from UC Berkeley, where she graduated with honors. She also earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Arting serves on the Board of Out for Undergrad, an organization focused on empowering high achieving LGBT professionals on achieve their full potential. She also serves on the Board of the Benny Fund, an organization dedicated to improving mental health and preventing suicide through advocacy and education that disproportionately affects LGBT youth. Arting also sits on the Board of Even Ground, an organization that strives to help families and communities break the cycles of poverty and inequality in Africa. Her philanthropic focus is on empowering young girls within the communities.
