Timothy Wong

Tim is a Principal on AEA’s Private Debt team. In his role, he focuses on mezzanine and senior debt investment opportunities.

Prior to joining AEA, Timothy was a director at Abacus Finance Group, providing credit solutions to private equity sponsored lower middle market companies. Previously, he was a vice president in the leveraged finance group at US Bancorp. Earlier in his career, Timothy held similar positions at CIT Asset Management, American Capital and J.P. Morgan.

Timothy earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Timothy is a board member for Young Life Upper East Side. He is also involved with Read Ahead as a mentor.
