AEA-Backed GMS Completes Initial Public Offering

AEA Middle Market Private Equity portfolio company, GMS Inc. today announced the completion of its initial public offering of 7,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $21.00 per share.

New York – May 26, 2016 – AEA Middle Market Private Equity portfolio company, GMS Inc. (NYSE: GMS) (“GMS” or the “Company”), a leading North American specialty distributor of interior building products, today announced the completion of its initial public offering of 7,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $21.00 per share. Shares of the Company’s common stock began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “GMS.” The offering is expected to close on June 1, 2016, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
