AEA Investors’ Middle Market Private Equity team announced today that its fund has completed the sale of Springs Window Fashions to a financial sponsor.
New York – October 6, 2021– AEA Investors’ (“AEA” or the “Firm”) Middle Market Private Equity team announced today that its fund has completed the sale of Springs Window Fashions (“Springs” or the “Company”) to a financial sponsor. Springs is a leading manufacturer of custom window coverings serving the residential and commercial end markets.
Founded in 1939, Springs has a long history of and track record of success in the window coverings industry. Under AEA’s ownership, the Springs team led by CEO Eric Jungbluth implemented a series of commercial and operational improvement initiatives including enhancing Springs’ organizational structure, revamping its channel focus and go-to-market strategy, repositioning its brands, driving new product innovation and investments in technology tools, expanding into the European markets through strategic M&A and creating significant margin enhancement through pricing and operational improvement programs. These initiatives enabled Springs to realize strong growth and profitability, and the Company remains well-positioned to continue to drive share in a favorable macro environment.
