New York – October 15, 2024 – AEA Investors’ (“AEA” or the “Firm”) Small Business Private Equity team (“AEA SBPE”) today announced that its fund has closed the acquisition of Dana Safety Supply (“DSS” or the “Company”). The transaction was completed alongside significant investment from the Company’s management team. Established in 2005 and headquartered in Greensboro, NC, DSS is a leading public safety services and equipment provider focused on law enforcement vehicle upfitting and selling tactical gear, apparel, and other law enforcement products. By pairing upfitting with tactical gear sales, DSS serves as one-stop shop for public safety entities.
