AEA SBF Acquires 50 Floor, Inc.

New York – December 28, 2020– AEA Investors’ (“AEA” or the “Firm”) Small Business Fund (“AEA SBF”) announced today that its fund has closed the acquisition of 50 Floor, Inc. (“50 Floor” or the “Company”). 50 Floor is a leading direct-to-consumer, shop-at-home flooring company focused on the residential repair and remodel markets.

The Company operates a unique asset-light business model that manages the entire consumer flooring experience from customer inquiry through installation. 50 Floor utilizes a metric-driven omni-channel customer acquisition model that drives high quality, cost-effective leads and impressive conversion rates, resulting in a strong return on advertising spend.
