AEA SBF Acquires Mesa Line Services
AEA Investors’ Small Business Fund announced today that its fund has closed the acquisition of Mesa Line Services, LLC, a leading provider of outsourced electric utility infrastructure services in the Southwest U.S.
New York – November 30, 2017 – AEA Investors’ (“AEA” or the “Firm”) Small Business Fund (“AEA SBF”) announced today that its fund has closed the acquisition of Mesa Line Services, LLC (“Mesa” or the “Company”), a leading provider of outsourced electric utility infrastructure services in the Southwest U.S.
Founded in 2014 and based in Houston, Texas, Mesa focuses on the Texas market, which is the largest in the Southwest, but has grown rapidly over the past three years to include surrounding states, including Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Led by two seasoned industry veterans, the Company primarily provides electric transmission and distribution and substation repair, maintenance and rebuild work for the largest utility companies in the region. With its steadfast focus on high-touch customer service, a “safety-first” culture, an ability to attract and retain qualified labor, and maintenance of a healthy demand and supply balance, Mesa is poised to take advantage of several growth opportunities, including enhancing share with current customers, winning over new customers, expanding its geographic reach and offering new, complementary services to customers.
