Small Business Private Equity Years with AEA
21 Baron is Co-Head and Partner on AEA’s Small Business Private Equity team. In his role, he focuses on investment opportunities in the consumer and business services and industrial products sectors. He currently serves on the boards of Chemtron RiverBend, CIMSense, Connexus Resource Group, Crane Engineering, Monroe, Rees Scientific, Unisyn Precision Components and Veseris. Baron also served on the boards of former AEA portfolio companies Aramsco, Balboa Instruments, CLS Management Services, Colony Hardware, Dayton Parts, Entregado Group, Evans, Flow Control Group, Galco, Implus Footcare, Inovar, In the Swim, PLZ Aeroscience, Sextant Education and Troxell Communications.
Prior to joining AEA, Baron was an associate at Arena Capital Partners, focusing on investments in business services companies. Prior to Arena, he was with GE Capital’s private equity investment division and was a member of the mergers and acquisitions department at Prudential Securities.
Baron earned a B.A. in government from Dartmouth College.
