Gary Smith

Gary J. Smith is a Senior Advisor on AEA’s Investor Relations & Fundraising team. He is involved in fundraising and investor relations with a particular focus on family offices and high net worth individuals across the firm’s strategies.

Before joining AEA, Gary was the Founder of The Sandringham Group, an advisory and consulting firm serving a variety of wealth managers and funds. Prior to The Sandringham Group, he was a Director at Aetos in the Investor Relations & Fundraising Group. Gary began his career in professional sports as a professional golfer and later transitioned to coaching with the Jack Nicklaus Academy and David Leadbetter before joining Golf Channel, ESPN and ABC Sports as a coach, analyst, and commentator. He has been a contributor to GOLF Magazine & Sports Illustrated and has served on the Advisory Boards of the LPGA Tour, ANC Sports, Celeritas, GOGI and the Partnership for After School Education (PASE).
