Jenny Killeen
Chief Human Resources Officer

Jenny Killeen is the Chief Human Resources Officer at AEA Investors. In her role, she partners with leaders across the firm and the HR team to develop and execute AEA’s human resources strategy, including workforce planning, talent initiatives, employee engagement, and HR operations. Jenny also oversees the administrative and facilities functions.
Before joining AEA, Jenny served as the Head of Human Resources and a Managing Director at Cowen Inc., a boutique investment bank. While at Cowen, Jenny led the global HR team and was a member of the CEO’s Management Committee that orchestrated the sale of Cowen to Toronto-Dominion Bank. Prior to Cowen, Jenny held the role of Managing Director and Head of Human Capital at MSD Partners, L.P., where she led the Human Capital & Facilities team for the investment advisory firm and the family office. Earlier in her career, Jenny held key HR leadership roles at Pine River Capital Management, a global asset manager, and Plural Investments, a start-up hedge fund. Jenny began her career at Merrill Lynch, where she worked with the investment bank’s businesses in New York and London on recruiting, performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
Jenny earned a B.A. in English from Georgetown University and an M.A. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University-Teachers College. Additionally, she holds a coaching certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching, is a certified Hogan assessor, and is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Jenny is a Sponsoring Angel for 100 Women in Finance, volunteers with the Cornelia Connelly Center, and serves as a mentor for students and graduates in the Georgetown Scholars Program.
