Nick Alers

Nick is a Principal on AEA’s Middle Market Private Equity team. In his current role, he focuses on AEA’s investments in the Industrial Technology / Advanced Materials, Building Products & Services, Distribution & Logistics and Commercial & Field Services sectors.

Prior to joining AEA, Nick worked in the investment banking group at Morgan Stanley in New York, focusing on mergers & acquisitions and financings for global transportation and logistics companies.

Nick earned a B.A. in economics from Yale University, where he graduated with honors.

Nick has been involved with several philanthropic organizations in Costa Rica.
