Ramzi Gedeon

Ramzi is a Partner on AEA’s Middle Market Private Equity team. In his role, he focuses on AEA’s investments in Europe, primarily in the industrials and services sectors. He currently sits on the boards of Polygon, Process Sensing Technologies and SCIO Automation.

Prior to joining AEA, Ramzi was a partner at TPG Capital in London, where over the last 18 years he has completed investments in various sectors, including retail and consumer, industrials, building materials, as well as technology and telecom. He also has experience across geographies, with transactions in several markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Turkey, the Middle East, and Australia. Ramzi started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York, where he advised private equity firms on all aspects of their investment activities.

Ramzi earned a B.A. in economics from Cambridge University, where he graduated with honors. He also earned an M.A. in international and development economics from Yale University.
