Robert Bassman

Robert Bassman is a Partner on the AEA Elevate team and a member of the AEA Elevate Investment Committee. He currently serves on the boards of AS Software, Commonwealth Pain & Spine and Mark Spain Real Estate.

Prior to joining AEA Elevate, Robert was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Founding Member of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, a $3 billion AUM private equity business. Robert served on several Morgan Stanley Private Equity fund investment committees. Previously, he was a member of Morgan Stanley Principal Investments and Morgan Stanley’s Special Situation Group. Robert joined Morgan Stanley as an analyst within the Investment Banking Division.

Robert has a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and attended The London School of Economics and Political Science.
