Ramzi Gedeon

Ramzi Gedeon is a Partner on AEA Investors’ Middle Market Private Equity team (“AEA MMPE”). In his role, he focuses on AEA MMPE’s investments in Europe, primarily in the industrials and services sectors. He currently sits on the boards of Polygon and SCIO Automation and previously sat on the board of Process Sensing Technologies.

Prior to joining AEA, Ramzi was a partner at TPG Capital in London, where he spent 18 years completing investments in various sectors, including retail and consumer, industrials, building materials, as well as technology and telecom. He also has experience across geographies, with transactions in several markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Turkey, the Middle East, and Australia. Ramzi started his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York, where he advised private equity firms on all aspects of their investment activities.

Ramzi earned a B.A. in economics from Cambridge University, where he graduated with honors. He also earned an M.A. in international and development economics from Yale University.
